You can definitely say this for Iron Man 3: it caused a stir. In a twist that still has comic book fans talking, the Mandarin turned out to be nothing more than a drug-addled, out-of-work actor in a cheap costume, who had no idea of the atrocities being carried out in his name. Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley) may not have helped to mastermind Aldrich Killian’s plan, but he certainly gets to reap the benefits in All Hail the King, a new Marvel One-Shot which finds him living a life of celebrity amongst the convicts of Seagate Prison.
Those who were outraged by the portrayal of the Mandarin in Iron Man 3 might find some resolution in All Hail the King. ...
